The main performance indicators of the speaker are: sensitivity, frequency response, rated power, rated impedance, directional and distortion parameters.

1. The rated power

The power of the speaker has nominal power and high power. Named power is called heavy power, without real power. It refers to the large input power of speakers in the rated non-distorted range. In the speaker trademark, the power marked on the technical manual is the power value. High power refers to the peak power that the speaker can bear in a moment. To ensure the reliability of the program, the high power of the speaker needs to be 2 to 3 times the nominal power.

2. The rated impedance

The impedance of the speaker is related to the frequency. The rated impedance is the impedance input measurement measured from the speaker when the audio is 400Hz. It is usually 1.2 to 1.5 times that of DC resistance. The general impedance in general dynamics speakers is 4Ω, 8Ω, 16Ω, 32Ω, etc.

3. Frequency response

When the speaker is added with the same voltage and different frequencies, the sound pressure generated will cause changes. Generally, the audio pressure is large, and the sound pressure generated when low audio and treble is small. When the sound pressure drops to the high value of the audio, the low frequency range is called the frequency response characteristics of the speaker.

The ideal speaker frequency characteristics should be 20 ~ 20kHz, so that all audio is evenly copied, but this is impossible. Each speaker can only replace the audio part.

4. distortion

The phenomenon that the speaker cannot replay the original sound is called distortion. There are two distortion: frequency distortion and non -linear distortion. The frequency distortion is due to the strong multiple of certain frequencies, and the proportion of the original high sound is caused by distortion, and the original sound changes. Non -linear distortion is due to the vibration of the speaker vibration system, and the fluctuation of the signal is not completely uniform, and the new frequency component is added to the output of the sound wave.
